TINCTORIA - a collaborative exhibition and open studio event at the Silk Mill
PREVIEW evening Friday 4th July 7pm - 10pm
Saturday 5th and Saturday 12th July 11am - 4pm
A collaborative art installation including film, sound, sculpture and traditional media. Silk Mill artists and associates explore the mill’s textile history and its contemporary use as art studios. An explosion of blues with yellow accents, celebrating the dyers’ herb Isatis tinctoria (woad). Dying, mending and textiles workshops will run alongside.
I will be also be opening my studio during this event so this a very, very rare opportunity to see inside my studio!
