Mishape Ring Pale Turquoise size M 1/2

Making these larger one off rings can be such a gamble as I never know how the resin is going to turn out until after I have sanded it down.  This poor ring has a couple of issues with it which is such a shame as the shape of the setting and the band turned out really well! 

Anyway, this one is a SECOND for these reasons - faults coming up! 

The silver bezel setting has a little flaw with the solder join.  Now, how I didn't notice this is beyond me but there we go, I did fail to see this.  I only noticed this flaw after I'd filed the resin down which gave me cause to find flaw number two.  There is a little fleck of unmixed pigment in the lovely pale turquoise coloured resin and the resin has found its way into the little gap in the solder join.  So there we have it, a lovely shaped ring in a gorgeous shade of pale turquoise with a couple of flaws in it.  They are only tiny flaws but they are there. 

Hopefully, someone will see beyond this little errors and love this ring flaws and all.

It's a size M 1/2.  The bezel setting is a lower profile setting that sits flatter against your finger but is made with thicker silver wire.  The setting measures 20mm wide by 15mm deep and the ring band is made from comfortable d-shaped hammered wire.  All the silver is recycled.
