Where mid-century meets contemporary in a burst of colour

This collection of jewellery takes inspiration from mid-century design with simple shapes, forms, textures and gorgeous colours.  Jewellery that conveys a sense of modern playfulness and fun, while emphasing the joy and style they bring to those who wear them.

Each and every bead starts life as porcelain white polymer clay and artists' powdered pigments are gradually mixed into the clay to create a palette of beautiful colours.  Each bead is hand formed, shaped, sanded and filed before being strung into one of a kind necklaces and turned into earrings.  Textured and scratched surfaces form a scribbled pattern on the beads and softens the colours. 

Recycled sterling silver wire, sheet and tube is used to create chain, settings, ear wires and clasps.
