Graduated Bead Necklace in Terracotta Red Earth Colours

These graduated bead necklaces are big and bold and fun to wear.  Made from handmade polymer clay beads in various sizes from 18mm to 12mm diameter beads, the beads are hand rolled so they aren't always completely round but that's part of their charm!

The necklace is approximately 19 inches long and fastens with a handmade hammered sterling silver clasp which sparkles slightly when the light catches it.

This necklace is a one of a kind colourway and it's available to post straight away.

This necklace is in an unsusual colour palette for me - I don't think I've ever made a necklace is what I call 'terracotta' colours but here's the first one! I've used natural red earth pigments (hematite red, pompeii red and terra ercolano) with Caput mortum and porcelain white clay and the results are beads in warm autumnal shades of terracotta, light orange, chocolate brown, brick red and darkest brown-black.  They're quite versatile colours and would look great with navy or dark forest greens.
